A Violation
Thursday, August 14, 2008 at 5:11PM Friends, I am moving... and the second person to view my apartment, who came with no forewarning whatsoever, was a man who got out his wee digital camera and without a word to me, started photographing... my rooms with all my belongings, all my work, all my mess of packing and art, and goes photographing right into my bedroom, and is fumbling for the bathroom light by the time I dare to say I'd really rather NOT have my bathroom photographed by some total stranger.
His reason -- to send images to his daughter in California -- is fine, but to go about it with so little civility was boorish.
Rude, oblivious, uncivilized, inconsiderate, or so it seems to me.
Leaves me feeling invaded and somehow violated tonight.
Spaces matter.

I agree with all, it is strange, weird and uncalled for.
So he values his daughter's wishes over your privacy, i wonder how this little man would feel, IF this had happened to his daughter/wife or sister by a weird, strange total being as was done to you?
That is definitely grounds to deny him any more entry into your space, he violated your trust and privacy... is he aware of privacy and copyright laws? How about harassment laws?
This is so sad, disturbing, when a person considers their own wants before another in the other's personal space. I hope you were able to confiscate the images, or at least prevent them from being distributed.
That is just plain rude and weird...

You simply could have replied, "Anyone who told you to be yourself couldn't have given you any worse advice." I would rather you use my restroom than photograph it. You may leave now with one less roll of film.
That is so rude of some one doing that, I can't even imagine. I have just a little to much sailor in me to be as nice as your other comments are. LOL...
A new admirer,
