This figure is in air-dry clays, while the smaller beings (many of whom take flight on eBay) are in polymer clay. More thoughts on these materials, when I've got my wits about me. Each material has distinct virtues, and for some projects, I find myself in Hamlet-like indecision... polymer, air-dry, air-dry, polymer... to bake or not to bake...
