I just love this, Forest---so wonderful to see an angel that is so magnificent and a bit scary , just the way the angels in the Bible are described (not the insipid creatures-pinups with wings- one sees so often these days). I would love to have a print of this. I wish that I could have met your amazing mother.
Sometimes we ask ourselves "Whatever became of..." so we do a little search and are taken aback by what we find. Such is the case here. It has been my pleasure to purchase Lou's work in times past. The first was "He Is Not Here." The last was "Trumpet Red" with several others in between. "Trumpet Red" has hung since I bought it but "He Is Not Here" is a seasonal display. It is very intense in our modest living room. It used to scare the grandkids.
As one artist passes we tend to mourn creations not to be. How wonderful that new artists are created to continue enriching our lives.
