The Odd things...

...that squeeze the heart:  I was sorting all manner of things today, and found a loose, bright orange 'post-it' note wandering the drifts of paper.  Upon it my departed mother had written, in capital letters:
GLOBULOUS GRAY BEING.

What the label was for, I know not. But that was the mark of my mother, and no mistake. We'll see if I come across the Being, as well.

Forest,It's interesting what pulls at us, when we are remembering the ones we have lost. I hope that finding the note, or even the Being with bring you a smile. For me it was a black tube of chapstick, my Dad always had one in his pocket. A few months after his passing I was rummaging through a drawer. I don't ever remember buying a tube of chapstick, but there one was. I held it for a while then put in in my purse. I love having simple reminders of him.Lori

Forest I tend to look at things in a different light.. maybe the note was a message to you to create something.. and she has given you a hint~

Sounds like a wonderful, dark, and deeply disturbing creature. Did you ever find it? Did it find you?My trigger happened when I was sorting through old cards. I found one from my father and it said '.. I thank God every day that he brought you back to me..'. Made me think of all the wasted years being mad, when I could have had him for longer. Then it made me grateful for the few years I had him after all. Every night since his death (years ago now) I ask God to tell him "hello" and let him know how much I love him and miss him. I can't go to sleep unless I do that one thing. It doesn't hurt as much as it did. The pain was horrifying the first year. But each passing year saw the pain being nudged out of the way by fond recollections.
